ABOUT FAWNED OF BUCKS DEER RANCH
Fawned of Bucks Deer Ranch was started by Lee & Heather Angele in 2015. After years of dreaming about raising whitetail deer.
Our first post got pounded in the fall of 2014.
By the fall of 2015 we had bought our first few deer. It wasn't until spring of 2016 until Heather's dream of bottle raising fawns was made a reality. While raising bottle feds was an incredible amount of work, the payoff was immeasurable.
From the calmness of our herd to the loving attachment and bond we have created between us and the deer, it goes beyond words.

What started out as simply a weekend hobby has now turned into a full time second career. Heather and myself took early retirement from jobs in the fall of 2023 to move to the Ranch in Central Alberta and raise deer full time.
We breed approximately 50 does and we expect to fawn out close to 100 fawns in the spring. We are consistently working to improve the quality of our whitetail deer by emphasizing genetic selection for antler and body size along with unique antler characteristics and overall herd health.
We thank God for the opportunity and privilege to raise these beautiful and majestic animals. We are thankful to be able to love and care for them as if they were part of our family.
